Our audience has been modified and now “Audience A” includes only Athletes and more details about their needs, wants and preferences. Our post will focus on Athletes, and also will include information directed to their families.

  • Introduce the initiative E
  • Explain how it benefits young athletes (and their families.)
  • Highlight the impact of Whirlpool’s partnership and how it provides tangible support to families.
  • Encourage readers to engage with the campaign—whether through social media, attending the
    event, or sharing the message.

In schools across Michigan, middle school athletes are working hard, persevering, and dreaming of the next level. We see your hard work. We believe in you.

Now, it’s your time to shine - and you are not doing it alone!

Whirlpool is on your side - support the players, succor their families, and reward their labor.

By providing winning teams with a modern washer and dryer set. 

Whirlpool provides tangible benefits for the home. It offers convenience, such as clean uniforms for young athletes and a little more ease for families with busy schedules. When your team wins, Whirlpool wins with you - ensuring everyone gets support they need beyond the court.

Planning through the process included several steps that helped us to complete our main goal - creation of the post for the blog.

Step 1: Identify purpose of the campaign blog

Step 2: Identify the audience for the blog post and gather information about their preferences, needs, wants, behaviour, demographic etc.

Step 3: Include all objectives that have been requested by the customer and analyze how we can do it. 

Step 4: Identify topic and main message we want to deliver to our audience

Step 5: Identify what resources we have and what we need to accomplish our goal. Use tools that will help us gather information (reports, articles, previous experience) for our post.

Step 6:  Identify and include colors and style for the visual part of post 

Step 7: Conduct check-in for work and gather information (opinions) about the blog post and make corrections if necessary.

Step 8: Conduct a second check-in if changes to the blog post have been made.   

Reasons and justification for objectives, what did we do to accomplish it

Objective 1:  Introduce the initiative

Blog starts with the headline“Shoot for the Stars: Stay Strong, Dream Bigger”.

“Shoot for the Stars” is the name of our campaign in collaboration with Whirlpool. 

This campaign was created as a support project for athletes and their families. 

The main idea of the campaign is to inspire young athletes in Michigan’s area to reach new heights and  provide the winners with new washer and dryer sets that will help them in their daily life. 

Words “Stay Strong, Dream Bigger” serve like an additional empowerment that emphasize main characteristics that athletes must have. 

Objective 2:  Explain how it benefits young athletes (and their families.)

The context of our text includes information that supports the achievement of this objective.

Benefits for athletes are provided in the form of support. For all kids it is important to hear words of support and to know that they are not alone. And Whirlpool and team of Derrick Coleman’s successfully provide these benefits for young athletes.

They give inspirational speeches like  

“You’re not just a player, you are the future of the basketball industry!”

These words inspire young athletes to believe that they are important and can achieve desirable goals and become a professional in the sports indusrty.

They also point out that they are always nearby and ready to help, as shown in these words 

“Now, it’s your time to shine - and you are not doing it alone!”

They say that they are ready to provide support not only for young athletes but for their families as well.

“Whirlpool is on your side - support the players, succor their families, and reward their labor.”

Objective 3: Highlight the impact of Whirlpool’s partnership and how it provides tangible support to families.

Their other goal is to help young athletes and their families not only through words but also through tangible benefits that will be useful for their families too. 

“By providing winning teams with a modern washer and dryer set. 

Whirlpool provides tangible benefits for the home.”

Include more detailed information about what Whirlpool and Derrick Coleman’s team are ready to provide to the winners and how it can help them if they get this prize 

“It offers convenience, such as clean uniforms for young athletes and a little more ease for families with busy schedules.”

Objective 4: Encourage readers to engage with the campaign—whether through social media, attending the event, or sharing the message.

We encourage people to share their dreams in the basketball industry. We want to hear their life story, how they came to sport and what their goal is in this industry. In order to understand what are they dreaming about we include words

It acts like an instruction that will help people to share their dream and to see what other people are dreaming about.

Objective 5: Include clear calls to action (CTAs) to drive further engagement.

To drive person to make an action we include words that act like preliminary call to action 

“Take a step towards the dream”

These words carry a promise and say that one step can help a person to achieve his dream.

After we include the actual call to action, make the font of CTA bigger and change its color and color of background. These things highlight CTA and make it stand out from the rest of the text. Words encourage people to take action, join the campaign.
